Wilma Francis Gaskins, 95, Harrisburg

Wilma Francis Gaskins, age 95, of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:40 AM, Monday, December 7, 2015 at Fountainview Nursing Home in Eldorado.

Wilma was born on June 8, 1920 in Eldorado to the late Clyde and Willard (Stone) Webb. She married Bert Gaskins, Jr. and he preceded her in death 1983. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Harrisburg.

Surviving family members include her son: Webb (Pam) Gaskins of Elizabethtown, IL; daughter: Katie Adams and friend David Brady of Harrisburg; son: Wayne Gaskins of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren: Stephanie (Bobby) Deppen, Keely (Tommy) Stephens, Nathan Gaskins, Justin Gaskins, Katrinka Stevers, and Lt. Col. Wesley (Misty) Adams; several great-grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Cindy Gaskins, grandson, Travis Gaskins, brother, Clyde Webb, and granddaughter, Adriane Gaskins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Rev. Christine Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:45 AM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The family requests no flowers; instead memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
