Two-vehicle accident injures Steeleville man

<span>A Tuesday afternoon two-vehicle accident involving two truck-tractors sent a Steeleville man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.</span>

<span>According to the Illinois State Police, an orange 2003 International - driven by 54-year-old John C. Lietz of Hoyleton - pulled onto Route 154 from Randolph-Perry County Line Road into the path of a white 1996 International truck-tractor.</span>

<span>The older International was driven by 56-year-old Larry Siemers, of Steeleville. Siemers was transported to Sparta Community Hospital via MedStar Ambulance.</span>

<span>Lietz was issued a citation for failure to yield. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.</span>

<span>The accident was reported at 1:17 p.m.</span>
