Charles Earl Baggett, Jr., 75, Harrisburg

Charles Earl Baggett, Jr. age 75, of Harrisburg, passed away at 6:36 PM, on Monday, November 23, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on November 23, 1940 in Evansville, IN. to the late Charles E. and Mary Goodwin Baggett. Charles was a retired iron worker and a Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. a member of the Harrisburg Masonic Lodge # 325, Harrisburg American Legion and Iron Workers local union #103. He was married to Adele and she survives.

Other survivors include a daughter: Robin and husband Clinton Omohundro of Herod, IL; son: Steve and wife Lori Baggett of Godfrey, IL; daughter: Tonya Sherwin of Harrisburg; 8 grandchildren: Samantha Morefield, Haley Ochoa, Allix Baggett, Clayton Baggett, Rhett Sherwin, Ashley Sherwin, Casey Daughenbaugh, and Jamie Omohundro; 4 great-grandchildren: Liam Morefield, Sawyer Morefield, Parker Hawthorne, and Ross Daughenbaugh; and the following siblings: Steve, Betty Jean, Darlene and Carolyn. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Peggy and brother: Donnie.

Masonic rites will be at 1 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Reed Funeral Chapel followed by the Funeral Services. Pastor James Hamilton will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
