Community Thanksgiving service Sunday, Nov. 22

The Du Quoin Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring a Community Thanksgiving Service Sunday evening November 22 at the Sunfield United Methodist Church.

The service will start at 6:30 pm. The message will be delivered by Reverend Earl Menchhoffer from St. John's United Church of Christ in Du Quoin.

Pastors from several of the local churches will be participating in the service. The Ministerial Alliance is requesting people to bring canned food that will be donated to Western Egyptian and there will also be a love offering collected that will also be donated to Western Egyptian that will be used to assist the local community in paying rent and utilities.

Everyone is invited to this ecumenical service and the Ministerial Alliance is looking forward to worshiping together.
