Eugenia Plater 79, Harrisburg

Eugenia Plater, 79 of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Harrisburg Medical Center.

She was born February 10, 1936 in Harrisburg to Waldo and Velma Severs Golliher. Eugenia retired as an instructor at Southeastern Illinois College.

Surviving are 1 son Kelly of Harrisburg, 1 daughter Darcy of Belleville and 1 brother Waldo of Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister Nedean Sparks.

Graveside services will precede burial 1 PM Tuesday at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. There will be no visitation and those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
