Mardi Gras winners announced
The Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce Monday announced the winners from the float and business trick or treat competition during the weekend's Mardi Gras festival. You will note that the Murphy-Wall State Bank float that appeared on Monday's front page was the overall winner, but was not the business category winner. That's because the float was not judged in that category because of a lineup issue, but was the overall winner.
