BASKETBALL: Junior Panthers win Marissa Tournament

With their 47-33 win over Sparta on Friday, the Junior Panthers finished off a championship at the Marissa Invitational Tournament where they won all four of their games by at least 14 points.

Devin Kitchen led Pinckneyville with 16 points in Friday's championship. Dawson Yates joined him in double figures with a dozen points. Derek Rohlfing added 7 points, Dalton Kitchen 6, Hunter Riggins 5 and Dre Scott 1.

The Junior Panthers and coaches Haven Hicks and Kyle Smith are pictured with their first place trophy. The roster also includes Noah Carter, Ty Fleming, Colton Priebe, Daniel Garavaglia, Reid Keene, Trent Morgenstern, Ben Restoff and Wyatt Gale.
