Middle School Baseball: Hawks fall to Cobden at SIJHSAA State Tournament
After an 11-3 loss to Cobden on Tuesday, the Gallatin County Junior High School baseball team will play for third place Thursday in the SIJHSAA State Baseball Tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Gallatin County knocked off Nashville 2-0, behind a strong performance from Blake Seely.
Seely tossed a complete game, allowing no runs on no hits, while striking out eight.
Will Henson scored one run, crossing the plate on a passed ball in the third inning and in the sixth, Gage Disney's single, followed by a hit from Seely, scored Dawson Hish for the only two runs of the game.
Gallatin County will play again Thursday at 1 p.m.
