GOLF: Lady Indians fall at Carterville

Du Quoin's girls golfers were defeated by Carterville today at Crab Orchard, falling 203-234 as Lady Lion Avery Rea covered the rest of the field by nine strokes with her medalist-winning round of 40.

Lady Indian Carlie Daffron was second overall at the match, carding a nine-hole total of 49. Gabrielle Alvarado (57), Maddison Dorsey (61) and Katyln Swallers (67) completed Du Quoin's team score.

The Lady Indians area at Jackson County Country Club on Friday against Murphysboro.
