FOOTBALL: Du Quoin freshmen beat Carterville in double-OT

Josh Heape scored in the second overtime to help give Du Quoin's freshman football team a 34-32 victory over Carterville on Thursday night at Van Metre Field. Tomorrow night, the varsity Indians travel to Carterville to take on the Lions in the first conference game for both teams.
