Ardell Wall

Ardell Wall, age 97, of Creal Springs passed away at 1:08 am Thursday September 17, 2015 at her home. She was born in Williamson County, Illinois, and April 9, 1918, the daughter of the late Earl and Eva Porter Reeder. She married Louie E. Wall in 1939 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 1988.

Ardell worked for a little while at Brach's Candy Factory before deciding to become a full time wife and mom. She was a Christian women and a member of the Mt Moriah General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three sons: Larry and Brenda Wall of Marion, Terry Wall of Creal Springs, and Rick and Donna Wall of Creal Springs. Three grandchildren: Claudia and Kevin Key, Kimberly and Terry Gwaltney, and Michelle and John Tourville; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday September 21, 2015 at 11:00 am in Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Revs. Jeff Owens and Eddie Donelson officiating. Burial will be in Drake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm on Sunday September 20, 2015.
