GOLF: Lady Panthers take first at A-J Invitational

The Lady Panthers golf team continued their unbeaten streak on Thursday, coming home with an eight-stroke victory at the 1034-4-team Anna-Jonesboro Invitational. Pinckneyville's girls haven't been beaten since their second place finish at the Okawville Invitational back on August 29.

Sarah Breslin brought home the individual win, winning her fifth medalist award with a nine-hole score of 36. Megan Breslin (41) and Ellie Carlson (43) also placed in the top ten individuals for PCHS with Trista Ogilvie's 45 completing the team's score of 165. Graci McDaniel (50) and Erica Crews (58) also took part in the event for the Lady Panthers.

Massac County (173) was second at A-J, followed by Carterville (183).

Pinckneyville (34-4) hosts Red Bud on Friday at Red Hawk Golf Course.
