Prep Golf: Tate medals for EHS girls

Keely Tate took medalist honors with a 45 helping the Eldorado High School girls' golf team knocked off Zeigler-Roylaton 197-234 Tuesday at Saline County Country Club.

Kileah Lowery fired a 47 for the Eagles, while Jacqlyn Artman carded a 49. Derian Corn turned in a 56 as Eldorado also got a 65 from Olivia Parker and a 68 from Ashlyn Sizemore.

The Eldorado boys team fell to Zeigler-Royalton 196-200.

John Amberger still picked up medalist honors for the Eagles, shooting a 47.

Jack Mings wasn't far behind with a 48, while Ben Byrd carded a 50.

Sam Cooker had a 55 for Eldorado, while Josh Rice had a 63 and Allen Marvel had a 69.
