VOLLEYBALL: Lady Panthers drop opener at Centralia in three sets
Pinckneyville fell in a tightly-fought three-set match to at Centralia to begin high school volleyball season with a loss, falling 25-17, 23-25, 25-23.
For the Lady Panthers, Kylee Kling finished with a team-high four kills. Sarah Breslin had ten assists, Emma Banach had seven digs, and both Mady Epplin and Kling added five digs for PCHS.
The Lady Panthers (0-1) play again this Saturday at the Southern Illinois River-to-River Conference Tournament at Herrin beginning at 9:00 a.m.
