Baseball: Craig makes pro debut at Boise

NORMAL - Fourteen months after being selected by the Colorado Rockies in the 12th round of the 2014 Major League Player First-Year Player Draft, former Redbird Dylan Craig finally made his professional debut Tuesday night.

Kept off the field by injury since being drafted, Craig made his debut for the Boise Hawks, of the Class A Short Season Northwest League, as they hosted the Eugene Emeralds at Memorial Stadium Tuesday night in Boise.

Limited by a pitch count, Craig pitched two innings and faced nine batters, allowing one run on a hit and a walk, while also striking out one batter. The left-hander did not factor in the decision as Boise scored a 5-4 win.
