Old Mill Inn, Cafe….B&B to hold grand opening
<span>The Old Mill Inn, Café…B&B, located at 260 Main St. in Alto Pass, will hold its grand opening on Friday, June 19. </span>
<span>Featured food will be homemade hot sandwiches, bread bowl soups and stews. Desserts, including pies and cakes, are also homemade on site.</span>
<span>A large variety of fresh fudge will be available (yes, we do make our own fudge). The café hours will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.</span>
<span>The B&B is taking reservations starting July 17. There will be three different period bedrooms available, as well as a dining room and two living rooms.</span>
<span>A full country breakfast will be served in the dining room on Depression-era dishes or if preferred, you may eat on the 60-foot balcony. Please call 618-697-5860 for reservations or information.</span>
<span>Michael and Dottie Jeremiah are the owners of this historic flour mill which was established in 1888.</span>
<span>The original flour was sold under the name "Alto Pride Flour" and 127 years later, the Old Mill is still serving up the best.</span>
<span>Arts and antiques are found throughout the Café and B&B. Many art pieces made by Mike are available to purchase.</span>
<span>Dottie, who is an excellent cook, heads up the kitchen. Mike is in charge of cleanup and washing the dishes.</span>
