Obituary: Dennis Hatton

Dennis Hatton, 76, resident of Raleigh passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at his residence. Dennis was born December 15, 1938 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Buford and Helen (Stedham) Hatton. He was a US Army Veteran. He was an avid golfer. He married the former Shirley Goodpaster who survives. In addition to his wife Shirley, Dennis is survived by three sons; Dennis Lee (Kathy) Hatton of Norris City, Alan Dean (June) Hatton of Florida, William David (Tracy) Hatton of Eldorado, a brother; Cletus Hatton of Georgia, seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Raymond "Larry" Hatton, and two half brothers; Danny Fader and Ricky Fader. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday June 18, 2015 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday June 17, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery with military rites.
