Obituary: Bob Ozment

Bob Ozment, age 79, of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:25 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Bob was born on December 25, 1935 in Harrisburg to the late R.W. "Doc" and Dorris (Henley) Ozment. On September 1, 1956 he married Mary Taylor and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2008. Bob was a retired High School Teacher.

Surviving family members include two brothers: Ken (Peg) Ozment and Greg Ozment; sister: Karen (John) White; nieces: Terri Carr, Elizabeth Carr Hall, Lisa Ozment, Suzette Lambert and Gina LoDestro; nephews: Ron Ozment, Matthew Ozment, Nat Ozment, Jeff White and Rich P. Hess; special lifelong friends: Ed and Betty Towle and their daughters Kelley Kirkbride and Libby Arredondo.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters-in-law: Joy Hess and Patty LoDestro and nephew, Randy Ozment.

There will be no funeral services. Reed Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Bob and Mary spent their careers passionately teaching. Donations can be made to Harrisburg C.U.D. #3 Library. Condolences may be sent to the family through the obituary page at www.reedfuneralchapel.com.
