Prep Baseball: Gallatin County blanks Pirates in 1A Regional

Gallatin County got off on the right foot in the Tuesday at the Pope County 1A regional, making the host Pirates walk the plank to the tune of a 10-0 win in five innings.

Thomas York picked up the complete game performance, while also pacing the Hawks at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored.

Kori Hise went 2-for-3 as well with two RBI and two runs scored, while Seth Ramsey, Nathan Shults, Lucas Hise and Hunter Walters all had one hit.

Ramsey, Shults and Walters all scored two runs, while Ramsey and Walters provided an RBI for Gallatin County.

The Hawks now advance to play Carrier Mills-Stonefort today at 4:30 p.m.
