College Baseball: Roper Named To 3rd Team All-Conference in Big Ten

Reid Roper, who plays second base for the Illini, was named to the Big Ten All-Conference Third Team for the first time in his career Tuesday. Roper is hitting .310 for Illinois, who will play Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament today (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota, also scored 48 runs, hit nine home runs and knocked in 46 RBI in the regular season.
