Casey's to open next Thursday

Next Thursday, May 21 at 5 a.m., the new 24-hour Casey's General Store at 631 N. Main will open. The new store is in the same location as a former Casey's store, which was closed and demolished, according to District Manager Mary Ham.

On Friday, May 29, the store will host a grand opening with music, prizes, specials and giveaways, starting at 5 a.m. and lasting all day<span class="s1">.</span> Casey's has one other location in Harrisburg at 435 W. Poplar St.

Casey's was founded in 1959 by Don Lamberti in Des Moines, Iowa, according to the company's website. Today, Casey's operates 1,865 stores across the Midwest and Great Plains.
