TRACK & FIELD: Bullar is top performer for DMS at Class L State Track meet

With her second place showing in the shot put, Du Quoin Middle School's Morgan Bullar was the Warriors' top performer at this past Saturday's SIJHSAA Class L State Track & Field Meet at Carterville, tossing a distance of 32'0.25. Bullar was also fifth in the girls' discus throw with a distance of 81'7.

Another Lady Warrior also placed twice in the top eight at State, Kaylea Snowden, who was seventh in the 7th grade 100 meter dash (13.32) and eighth in the 200 meter dash (28.46).

Bailey Harsy came in fifth in the 8th grade 100 meter dash at a time of 17.33.

Keith Norris was the only DMS boy to place in the top eight of an event, coming in seventh in the 400 meters at a time of 59.75.

Pinckneyville District #50's only top-8 finisher at the meet was Devin Kitchen, third in the 7th grade boys 100 meter dash at a time of 12.06.
