Sheriff investigating thefts
Saline County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating thefts of a handgun, an all-terrain vehicle and a pop up camper.
Michael Vaughan of 1165 Greenhill Road reported the theft of a Glock 40 caliber handgun from his home May 1, according to the sheriff's report.
The theft is believed to have occurred between April 16 and April 30. There was no forced entry apparent.
Dakoda Jennison reported a white Polaris 850 Sportsman XP stolen from his residence at 3785 Hamburg Road on May 1.
Debbie Suh of Ledford reported Tuesday a white Viking pop up camper stolen from her Ledford residence. Deputies located the camper on Union Grove Road 1/4 mile east of state Route 34 Monday.
Chief Deputy Ken Clore believes someone took the camper to salvage before abandoning it.
