OBITUARY: Bobbie C. Moore
Bobbie C. Moore, age 76 longtime resident of Shawneetown died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.
Bobbie was born in Harlan County, Ky., on May 22, 1938, to the late Everett and Sudie (Brock) Dozier. On June 30, 1967, she married Charlie Moore who survives. Bobbie love to cook, sew and mostly raise children. She had a contagious smile and always very kind. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by many.
Bobbie is survived by her husband Charlie Moore of Shawneetown; a son, Mike and Alisha Moore of Equality; daughter, Tracie Moore of Shawneetown; six grandchildren, Shea Moore, Hannah Jo Moore, Abbie Moore, Hailey Gray, Raymond Gray and Myleigh Gray; one great-grandchild, Alynna Moore; three sisters, Phyllis Robbins of Shawneetown, Margie and Tom Finley of Verona, Ky., and Sharon Robbins of Weston, Ohio; two brothers, E.P. Dozier of Florida and James and Herta Dozier of Radcliff, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Maxine Grogan and Imogene Edmonds; and three brothers, Bill, Benny and Everett Dozier.
Visitation for Bobbie will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Her funeral service will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the funeral home starting at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jack Hall will officiate and burial will follow at the Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown.
