OBITUARY: Robert Glenn Jones Jr.

Robert Glenn Jones Jr., 71, resident of Eldorado, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Bob was born July 13, 1943, to the late Robert Glenn Sr. and Georgia Lou (Clark) Jones. On April 10, 1979, he married the former Penny Doerr who survives.

He is survived by his wife, Penny A. Jones; children, Robert (Carrie) Jones of Texas, John (Jessica) Jones of Georgia, Jeff Searcy of California, Renee Pryor of Texas; grandchildren, Peyton Jones, Timothy Jones, Bentley Jones, Cera Searcy, McKenzie Searcy, Harley Searcy, Austyn Searcy, Kara Pryor, Katie Pryor; sisters, Rita Sivels of Eldorado, Sharron Rivera of Texas; brothers-in-law, John Doerr of Eldorado and Larry Doerr of Winthrop Harbor; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Swinney and great-nephew, Ryan Sivels.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Robert Glenn Jones III officiating. Visitation is 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, to service time. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
