OBITUARY: Maurice I. Hall

Maurice I. Hall, 86 of the West End community, passed away 2:55 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015, in the Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

He was born in West End on June 16, 1928, to the late Noel and Pauline (Watson) Hall. Maurice was married to Rosemary (Sinks) Hall and she preceded him in death. He work at General Motors in Detroit Michigan for 31 years, also a WWII Navy Veteran and attended the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Maurice is survived by a daughter, Cindy Tennessen; two grandchildren, James A. Tennessen and Heather Tennessen; and one great-grandson, Brian Gibbs.

He was preceded by his parents; wife; and five sons, Jerry and Mike Hall and three in infancy; and also four brothers, Noel "Hud", Jerry, Forrest and Bruce Hall.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the funeral home. The Dr. Harrison Peyton will officiate with burial in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
