Driver cited in semi-bus accident
<span>CHESTER -- A two-vehicle accident on Monday at the intersection of Opdyke and State streets in Chester resulted in a citation for a Ste. Genevieve man.</span>
<span>Officers with the Chester Police Department said 50-year-old Keith Moran, with BV Trucking, was cited for failure to yield right of way when the 2007 Peterbilt tractor-trailer he was driving clipped the rear of a Western Egyptian Head Start bus.</span>
<span>The tractor-trailer was turning left onto Opdyke Street, while the bus, driven by 53-year-old Lisa J. King of Sparta, was turning right onto State Street.</span>
<span>No one was injured in the accident.</span>
<span>"There were three children in the bus being transported home from Head Start," said Chester Police Chief Ryan Coffey. "Parents and guardians of the children were contacted to come to the scene and the children were released to those parents and guardians."</span>
<span>Coffey said officers were called to the scene at 12:37 p.m.</span>
