Man accused of burglarizing girlfriend's home

Saline County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man accused of robbing his girlfriend's house.

Deputies arrested Jared Lee Hall, 28, 4800 N. Lebanon Road, Galatia, 10:05 a.m. Saturday on charges of possession of a firearm with no Firearm Owner's Identification Card, burglary and theft over $500. He was held at the Saline County Detention Center on $2,000 cash bond.

Illinois State Police Trooper Roy Glasscock requested assistance at 250 Mitchellsville Road, Harrisburg, 8:25 a.m. Saturday for a possible burglary in progress, according to a sheriff's report.

Deputies Steve Sloan and Jared Campbell arrived to find Glasscock speaking with Hall who said his girlfriend, Christy L. Murrow had given him permission to enter the trailer to get clothing and jewelry. He is believed by police to have taken a shotgun, ammunition, bags of papers, jewelry, cameras and a phone charger, according to the report.

Murrow said Hall had no permission to take anything, the report indicates.
