Kyle Brown confirmed to be found in sunken SUV

Pope County Sheriff Jerry Suits confirmed Monday the body found in the Honda CRV recovered from One Horse Gap Lake was the missing Harrisburg man, Kyle Brown. Brown had been missing since Dec. 28, 2014.

The Pope County Corner completed the autopsy on Sunday and Suits stated that Brown was identified through dental records. No foul play is suspected.

Multiple law enforcement agencies participated in the search for Brown, though Harrisburg Police received the initial report from the family.

"It's a sad end to a long investigation, a tireless investigation," Harrisburg Police Chief Bob Smith said.
