Prep Baseball: Indians blank Eldorado
Johnston City jumped on Eldorado early, plating six runs in the first three innings to take a Black Diamond Conference game from Eldorado 10-0.
The Eagles had just two hits on the afternoon as Richard Graceffa and Kale Oglesby came through in the bottom of the Eldorado lineup.
Eldorado stranded seven runners on base, struck out 11 times and committed four errors against the Indians.
Eldorado used three pitchers in the loss as Adam Collier got the start and gave up six runs (five earned) on four hits over three innings. Drew Woolcott tossed two innings, allowing one run on one hit, while striking out three and John Meredith gave up three runs on two hits, while walking one.
Eldorado is scheduled to play host to Pope County today (Wednesday) at 4:30 pm and will close out the week hosting Johnston City on Thursday and Crab Orchard on Friday.
