OBITUARY: Reba M. Cochran

Reba M. Cochran, age 79, of Peoria, passed away 11:05 a.m. Wednesday April 8, 2015, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 28, 1936, in New Haven to Harmon and Bessie (Foster) Acord. She married James Cochran and he passed away February 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters.

Survivors include one daughter: Bev Hopper of Dunlap; two granddaughters: Jamie Henderson of Washington, Ill., Erin (Philip) Watt of Peoria; two great-granddaughters: Lily Henderson of Washington, Piper Watt of Peoria; and three sisters: Nadine Mills, Ruth Johnson and Ruby (James) Poshard, all of Southern Illinois.

Cremation has been accorded. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday April 18, 2015, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with the Rev. L.D. Jolly officiating. Visitation is 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery in New Haven.
