OBITUARY: Donald Ray Douglas

Donald Ray Douglas, 74 of Harrisburg, passed away at 7:16 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Donald was born on Jan. 15, 1941, in Harrisburg to the late William "Bill" and Leanore (Roark) Reynolds. On June 27, 1959, he married Carolyn Williams and she preceded him in death on April 15, 2013.

Donald was a coal miner and the former owner of 3 Little Pigs Barbecue.

Surviving family members include his son, Chris (Michelle) Douglas of Harrisburg; daughter, Vicki Douglas of Harrisburg; brothers and sisters, Sandra Brantley of Galatia, Robert "Doc" (Susan) Douglas of Carrier Mills, Norma (Bud) Dearing of Harrisburg, Beverly (Wayne) Willis of Eldorado, Steve Douglas of Harrisburg and Jack Douglas of Sparta; eight grandchildren, Jake, Jordan, Elijah, Gabrielle, Daykota, Nave, Nikaya and Noah; two great-grandchildren, Eden and Anzley; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister, Carolyn Wilson.
