OBITUARIES: Bill E. Yates

Bill E. Yates, 75, born and raised in Harrisburg, passed away in northwestern Indiana on March 31, 2015.

He was the loving husband of Carole (Cable) of 56 years.

The body has been cremated.

Survivors include a son: Brett Yates of Carbondale; a daughter: Kristi (Chuck) Cooper of Harrisburg; two granddaughters: Stephanie Allen of Harrisburg, Amanda (Frank) Sabella of Springfield, Va.; a niece: Penny; several nephews: Rick, Charlie and Bill Allen; two cousins: Jack (LuAnn) Yates of Harrisburg and Grace (David) Blackburn of Galatia; and one aunt: Thelma Abney of Harrisburg.

A memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, in Murphysboro at Oak Tree Baptist Church with Charlie Allen officiating.
