Rauner to visit Randolph County

In a Friday news release from the governor's office, it was announced that Gov. Bruce Rauner will be visiting Randolph County on Friday, April 10, as part of his Illinois Turnaround Tour.

Rauner will visit 17 counties from Monday, April 6, to Saturday, April 11, "to meet with the hard-working people of Illinois, elected officials and other key stakeholders," according to the release.

The governor will present details of his legislative plans, including elements of his Economic Competitiveness and Job Growth Package; Taxpayer Protection and Property Tax Freeze Package and Transforming Government Package and Pension Reform Package.

No specific time or location of the Randolph County visit has yet been announced. He is also scheduled to visit Sangamon County, St. Clair County and Jefferson County on Friday.
