OBITUARY: Jason Dwayne Lane
Jason Dwayne Lane, 37 of Perryville, Mo., formerly of Junction, passed away 4:32 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.
He was born on July 12, 1977, in Eldorado, the son of Gary Dwayne and Sherri Lynn (Moye) Lane. He married Melinda P. Potter on Nov. 1, 1997. Jason worked as a prison guard, tach team officer at the Menard Correctional Center. He was a member of the Pisgah General Baptist Church. Jason is survived by his wife, Melinda P. Lane of Perryville, Mo.; three sons, Jake Golden of Ridgway, Logan and Dylan Lane of Perryville, Mo.; two daughters, Brittany York and David of Steeleville, Bethany York of Perryville, Mo.; his parents, Gary and Sherri Lane of Junction; his brother, Travis and Emma Lane of Harrisburg; his sister, Brittney and Nick Capeheart of Shawneetown; paternal grandmother, Ruby Lane of Junction; maternal grandparents, Noble and Irma Moye of Ridgway; two grandsons, Caleb and Aiden; five nieces and nephews, Halle, Ellah and Avah Lane, Brayden and Aniston Capeheart; sister-in-law, Erin and Greg Blankenship and Will of Riceville, Tenn.; father and mother-in-law, Willie and Barbara Potter of Harrisburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Luther Lane.
Visitation for Jason will be 10 a.m. to the 1 p.m. service time Friday, April 3, 2015, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. The Rev. Jerry Williams will be officiating the service with burial at Hill Cemetery near Rim Rock of rural Elizabethtown.
