Eldorado Beta Clubs shine at Springfield

Founded in 1934, the National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for more than 80 years, it has prepared today's students to be tomorrow's leaders.

Their mission statement is "to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary, and secondary school students." Former United State President Bill Clinton was a beta member.

The Eldorado Middle School and High School Beta Clubs traveled to Springfield on March 16 and 17 and brought home honors that will allow some members to participate in the national competitions in Nashville on June 25 through July 2.
