OBITUARY: Mary Ann Downs

Mary Ann Downs, 72 of Carrier Mills, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at her residence.

Mary was born on Dec. 6, 1942, in Sturgis, Ky., to the late Bob and Sue (Daily) Downs.

Surviving family members include her five children, Ray (Lori) Jackson of Uniontown, Ky., Sharon (Frederick Ray) Carrier of Carrier Mills, Linda (Ritchie) Westerman of Uniontown, Ky., Brenda (Terry) Green of Uniontown, Ky., and Steve Jackson (fiancé Lori Horton) of Uniontown, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, Jamie Jackson, Jason Jackson, Holly Buckman, David Westerman, Shane Green, Hunter Green, Laura Emmert, Travis Jackson, Logan Jackson, Shelby Jackson and Taylor Jackson; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Peggy Jackson and Richard Jackson; and a sister, Joann Tate.
