New HHS C building image made available
Harrisburg School District has released a digital image of the new envisioned C building that voters will be deciding upon in the April 7 General Election.
The C building currently has science labs, Bonnell Gym, administrative offices, vocational classrooms and the cafeteria.
The district plans on replacing all of those with the new building.
The project cost is $22 million. Voters will decide whether to authorize the district to issue $14 to $15 million in Alternate Revenue Bonds to make the annual bond payment. $2 million is currently in the Sales Tax Fund, $3 million exists in the Health, Life, Safety fund and the district intends to issue $3 to $3.5 million in Health, Life, Safety Bonds to pay for the project.
The district holds an open house 10 a.m. March 28 for the public to walk through the school and ask questions.
