Sentencing of four announced

Saline County State's Attorney Mike Henshaw has announced the sentencing of four individuals in February.

Justin G. Dowdy was sentenced Feb. 19 to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and two year's mandatory supervised release for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance while in residential property owned by a public housing agency, according to a release from Henshaw. He was also sentenced to five years in IDOC and two year's mandatory supervised release on a burglary charge.

Kently J.C. Nowakowski was sentenced Feb. 20 to seven years in IDOC and two year's mandatory supervised release for unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor. He was also sentenced to six years in IDOC and one year mandatory supervised release for mob action.

Patrick J. Rubenstein was sentenced Feb. 25 to seven years in IDOC and two year's mandatory supervised release for aggravated battery of a police officer.

Christopher Castros was sentenced Feb. 25 to two years in IDOC and one year mandatory supervised release for domestic battery.
