Stockmen host 25th annual March Banquet

Formed in 1990, the Saline County Stockmen's Association has been supporting 4-H and other programs aimed at area youth for 25 years.

The association held its annual fundraising banquet Saturday at the Bonan Business Center in Harrisburg.

Stockmen fundraisers like the banquet have helped improve the 4-H buidlngs at the Saline County Fairground and the association provides scholarships to local seniors in high school.

Banquet organizer Danny Evans said, "You do not have to live on a farm to be a member."
