Sparta PD investigating business burglary

<span>The Sparta Police Department is investigating a Thursday morning burglary that occurred at Carpet Corral, 259 N. Market St.</span>

<span>"The call came in about 9 a.m. this morning," said Sparta Police Chief Sean Lukes. "When we arrived, we saw shoe impressions in the snow, which led us to a residence.</span>

<span>"We obtained a search warrant on the residence and the investigation is ongoing."</span>

<span>Lukes said officers did question people who lived at the residence, but no arrests have been made thus far.</span>

<span>"We have to do some follow-up questioning and round up some other guys," he said. "Hopefully, we'll be making an arrest here shortly."</span>
