26-year-old killed in Pankeyville crash
Holly D. Musgraves, age 26 of Carrier Mills, was killed in a Friday morning crash, according to an Illinois State Police press release.
At 5:53 a.m. Musgraves was northbound on state Route 145 near Pankeyville, when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle on icy pavement, left the roadway and overturned. Musgraves was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the vehicle, according to the release.
Musgraves was pronounced dead at the scene by the Saline County Coroner's Office.
Both lanes of state Route 145 were closed about four hours while the crash was investigated.
The crash remains under investigation by ISP.
An ISP Crash Reconstruction Officer (C.R.O.) has been assigned to the crash investigation.
ISP was assisted at the crash scene by the Saline County Sheriff's Department, Saline County EMS, Saline County Coroner's Office, Harrisburg Police Department, Harrisburg Fire Department and the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Musgraves worked at Saline Care Center as a CNA.
She is the daughter of Susan O'Neal of Ridgway and husband of Jimmy Keith. She had two children, Julia and JR, according to obituary information.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway with visitation from noon until the service time.
