Tyler Smithpeters - SIU
Smithpeters played just five minutes - all in the first half - in SIU's 63-57 win over Drake Saturday at the SIU Arena. Smithpeters was 0-for-1 from the field and had one foul.
Capel Henshaw - Lewis University
Henshaw went 2-for-3 from the field, including a 1-for-1 mark from 3-point range, while grabbing two boards, handing out two assists and scoring four points over 22 minutes in Lewis' 73-68 loss to UW-Parkside Thursday. On Sunday, Henshaw grabbed two rebounds, playing 12 minutes in the Flyers' 70-52 win over University of Illinois-Sprinfield.
Keelin Rasch - Louisiana-Monroe
Rasch went a combined 6-for-12 over the weekend series against Sam Houston State. Rasch finished 3-for-5 at the plate with a double (his fourth of the year) Sunday, scoring a run. Rasch scored four runs over the weekend and knocked in three.
Reid Roper - Illinois
Roper hit his first home run of the season Sunday, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run in Illinois' 4-3 loss to Kent State. On Saturday, Roper was 1-for-3 in a 2-1 loss to the Eagles. Through 10 games, Roper leads the Illini with a .421 batting average, 16 hits and 11 RBI. He's slugging .605 with 23 total bases and has scored seven runs (third most) with five walks and three strikeouts.
Ryne Roper - Illinois
Roper went 0-for-4 Sunday and was 0-for-2 Saturday in a pair of Illinois losses to Kent State. Roper is hitting .237 for the Illini with 38 at-bats with nine hits (three doubles), five RBI, one run and 12 total bases. He's slugging .316 with three walks, nine strikeouts and a .293 on-base percentage.
Logan Leverett -Illinois State
A few days removed after the former Bulldog was named Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Player of the Week, Leverett combined to go 0-for-7 with six strikeouts in a pair of losses to last year's College World Series champions Vanderbilt. Leverett did not play in Sunday's finale against the Commodores.
Denton Reed - SIUE
Reed went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in SIUE's 2-0 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock Saturday.
Emily Reed -Murray State
Reed went 0-for-1 as a designated player in Murray State's 7-1 win over Bradley Saturday. The Racers are 10-5 on the season, while Reed has played in just three games, going 1-for-4 with a double and a strikeout on the year.. She's batting .250, with a slugging percentage of .500.
