Edward Gene "Scooter" Barton Sr., 60, Shawneetown, died in Rockdale Feb. 23, 2015.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2015, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
