Prep Hoops: Gallatin County gets by Wildcats in overtime
Gallatin County head coach Doug Miller called Monday night's performance in the opening round of the Class 1A Regional at Norris City "one of the best efforts of the year."

The Hawks outscored CMSF 6-4 in the overtime period with Seth Ramsey doing all the work.
The sophomore sensation scored a game-high 33 points, going 16-for-17 from the foul line.
The Wildcats took an early 10-12 lead and led 27-26 at intermission. Gallatin County outscored Carrier Mills-Stonefort 13-10 in the third period to hold a 39-37 advantage going into the game's final eight minutes where CMSF outscored the opposition 12-10.
Slayden Figg led the Wildcats with 14 points, while Darren Betz and Loren Whiting each netted 11 for Carrier Mills-Stonefort.
Chandler Scates tacked on 11 points for Gallatin County who will play No. 1 seed Crab Orchard Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
