OBITUARY: Donald E. Durham

Donald E. Durham, age 79 of Eldorado, passed away Monday Feb.23, 2015, at Saline Care Center in Harrisburg.

Donald was born in Eldorado Jan. 30,1936, to the late Kenneth and Virginia Griffith Durham. On June 12, 1960, he married the former Raeleen Webb who survives in Eldorado.

Donald was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church in Eldorado where he had attended all his life and where he served as Sunday school director and custodian for many years. He was always a faithful member of the Church. Donald worked for Eldorado Unit No. 4 School District as custodian and bus driver. He was also very supportive and proud of his grandchildren. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams fan as well as Eldorado sports programs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Don (Jennifer) Durham of Eldorado; his daughter, Gayla (Brian) Heath of Eldorado; brother, Ronald (Barb) Durham of Joliet; sister, Ruth Ann (Gene) Watson of Marion; grandchildren, Sybria Durham, Rachel Durham, Jonah Durham and Kayla and David Heath.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Mike Weaver and the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado.
