OBITUARY: Juanita H. St. John

Juanita H. St. John, 89 of Bourbonnais, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Stonefort, to the late George W. and Nola M. (Sittig) Deaton

Surviving are one grandson, Sean Good of Bourbonnais.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, Nena Good; and a son, Kenneth St. John; brothers, Melvin Deaton, Carl "Tubby" Deaton; and sisters, Georgia (Deaton) Mitchell and Naomi (Deaton) Jenkins.

Juanita retired from working at Manteno State Hospital.

Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be in Bolton Trammel Cemetery in Stonefort.

A celebration of Juanita's life will be held at a later date.
