OBITUARY: Lourene S. Miller

Lourene S. Miller (nee Riley) was born on Tuesday, June 10, 1919, a daughter of the late Jefferson Davis and Maud Riley in the Township of Oak Grove, Mo.

She entered eternal life Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at home in Merritt Island, Fla., at the age of 95. She married the late Elmer Inman Miller on June 14, 1942. They celebrated 28 years of married life and were blessed with one daughter, Barbara Lynn Wentworth (nee Miller) on April 30, 1943. Barbara preceded her mother's death on Jan. 3, 2014.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Kathryn Diane Wentworth and David Scott Wentworth; one sister, Lucille Turner; and her great-grandchildren, Anthony Barger Jr., Kaitlynn Ware, Kassidy Barger, Sydney Wentworth and Jacob Wentworth.

Lourene will be remembered as a warm and caring woman who was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a beautiful soul and tried to help anyone she could. Memorial services will be held at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, Illinois, 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to service time Friday.
