OBITUARY: Kathy A. Jackson

Kathy A. Jackson, 54 of 204 Poplar St., Stonefort, died 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare.

Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. until service time at the church. The Rev. Tommy Dutton will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1961, in Harrisburg, to the late Gary L. Jackson Sr. and Rose (Carmen) Jackson whom survives.

She was a member of the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church.

Kathy loved many things including fishing, doing carpentry work and her greatest love was spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by two sons: Robert "Robbie" Metcalf of Derry, N.H., and Gary Metcalf of Stonefort; mother: Rose "Dee" Jackson of Stonefort; two brothers: Gary "Chuck" L. (Peggy) Jackson Jr. of Derry, N.H., and Richard "Rick" Jackson of Hampstead, N.H.; four grandchildren: Malaki Metcalf, Kayden Metcalf, Gage Metcalf and Braxton Metcalf; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father: Gary L. Jackson Sr. and sister: Diana Kay Jackson.
