Tickets go on sale Monday for “Ax of Murder”

<span>CHESTER - The Chester High School drama production of "Ax of Murder" is just weeks five away and tickets go on sale Monday.</span>

<span>The show runs Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, March 21 in Juergen's Gymnasium. Tickets will be available at Chester High School in the high school office.</span>

<span>Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students, kindergarten through eighth grade. Every person attending will need a seat unless a young child sits on a parent's lap.</span>

<span>On opening night, March 19, the show begins at 7:30 p.m. A dinner theater will begin at 6:30 p.m. on March 20 and March 21 with the combined dinner and show cost at $20.</span>

<span>The March 21 performance will be an afternoon matinee beginning at 2 p.m. Seating will be available in both the bleachers and on the floor in front of the stage.</span>

<span>Tables for the dinner theater will be arranged on the gym floor in front of the stage. Attendees purchasing the dinner theater option will remain seated at their tables for the performance. </span>

<span>On dinner theater nights, guests can attend just the play at 7:30 p.m. for the regular price of $8 or $5, respectively. Seating for non-dinner theater guests will be in the bleachers or the orange front row reserved seats of the bleachers.</span>

<span>The menu for dining guests will be different for the Friday and Saturday shows. Friday night's meal will a Cajun delight including mild Jambalaya with or without meat, red beans and rice, homemade slaw, special creamed corn, corn muffins and Texas sheet cake for dessert.</span>

<span>Saturday night's meal will an Italian meal including tortellini with white cream sauce or red marinara sauce, Italian green beans, sautéed mushrooms, Caesar salad, and non-alcoholic tiramisu for dessert.</span>

<span>Drinks are included both nights. </span>
